Effect of existing laws[edit | edit source]

Laws contained in the Constitution of Urabba Parks in effect immediately before the establishment of jurisdiction and laws passed by the members of Urabba Parks or otherwise under the existing Constitution in force upon the establishment of jurisdiction shall remain laws of Urabba Parks5, but laws having effect under this section:

(a) shall be of no effect to the extent it appropriates money from the Treasury of Urabba Parks; and
(b) shall not have the effect of a provision actually contained in the Constitution, or of laws passed by the Parliament of Urabba Parks.

21. This clause provides that laws contained in the existing Constitution itself and laws passed by the members of Urabba Parks or otherwise under the existing Constitution in force at the establishment of jurisdiction shall remain laws of Urabba Parks, but shall no longer have the effect of a provision actually contained in the Constitution, or of laws passed by the Parliament of Urabba Parks.

22. Subclause (3) provides that, without limiting the adoption by or under the Constitution of the objects of Urabba Parks, such objects shall, subject to the Constitution and laws passed by the Parliament of Urabba Parks, remain as objects of Urabba Parks.
