Additional original jurisdiction[edit | edit source]
The Parliament may make laws conferring original jurisdiction on the Court of Directors in any matter:
- (a) arising under this Constitution, or involving its interpretation; or
- (b) arising under any laws made by the Parliament;
- (c) relating to the same subject‑matter claimed under the laws of different jurisdictional divisions.

207. This section, based on the corresponding section of the Australian Constitution, provides the Parliament may vest original jurisdiction in the Court of Directors in addition to the jurisdiction granted under section 75.
