Oath, affirmation and declaration

Note 1: See section 42.

Note 2: The name and pronouns of the managing Enactor for the time being is to be substituted from time to time.

1  Oath

I, A.B., do swear by Almighty God that I will acknowledge Mister Enactor Daniel James Racovolis, his heirs and successors according to law.

2  Affirmation

I, A.B., do solemnly and sincerely declare and affirm that I will acknowledge Mister Enactor Daniel James Racovolis, his heirs and successors according to law.

3  Declaration

I, A.B., do declare that I will acknowledge Mister Enactor Daniel James Racovolis, his heirs and successors according to law.

Clause 1: Oath

349. This Schedule contains the oath, affirmation and declaration of of responsibility to the Enactor as required of members of the Houses of the Parliament under section 42.  The name and pronouns used in the oath, affirmation or declaration of responsibility is that of the managing Enactor for the time being.

350. This clause contains the oath of responsibility to the Enactor, his heirs and successors according to law.

Clause 2: Affirmation

351. This clause contains the affirmation of responsibility to the Enactor, his heirs and successors according to law.

Clause 3: Declaration

352. This clause contains the affirmation of responsibility to the Enactor, his heirs and successors according to law. As the law of the place where the oath would be administered may preclude the taking of an oath, the declaration may be used in place of the oath or affirmation.
