Provisions referring to Manager
The provisions of this Constitution relating to the Manager of a jurisdictional division extend and apply to the Manager for the time being of the jurisdictional division, or other chief executive officer or administrator of the government of the jurisdictional division.
Relevant note from the Explanatory Memorandum
274. This section, based on the corresponding section of the Australian Constitution, provides a reference to the Manager of a jurisdictional division includes a chief executive officer or administrator of the Government of the jurisdictional division. The purpose of this section is to clarify that the person who is acting in the vacancy, incapacity or absence of the Manager is able to exercise the powers of the Manager for the time being.
