The&nbsp;Enactor may authorise the Manager‑General to appoint any person, or any persons jointly or severally, to be the Manager‑General’s deputy or deputies<sup>[[Constitution of Urabba Parks/Section 126#Notes|7]]</sup> within any part of Urabba Parks, and in that capacity to exercise during the pleasure of the Manager‑General such powers and functions of the Manager‑General as the Manager‑General thinks fit to assign to such deputy or deputies, subject to any limitations expressed or directions given by Mister&nbsp;Enactor; but the appointment of such deputy or deputies shall not affect the exercise by the Manager‑General of any power or function.

300. This section, based on the corresponding section of the Australian Constitution, provides the Manager‑General may appoint deputies to exercise the functions of the Enactor’s representative during temporary absences or incapacities.  The purpose of this section is to provide for the effective administration of the Government of Urabba&nbsp;Parks during the temporary absence or incapacity of the Manager‑General.
