[[Constitution of Urabba Parks/Contents|Table]]|[[Constitution of Urabba Parks/Notes|Notes]]|[[Constitution of Urabba Parks/Section 137|Previous]]|[[Constitution of Urabba Parks/Section 139|Next]]|[[Constitution of Urabba Parks/Download|Download]]<br>{{Navbar|L=Constitution of Urabba Parks|Ch=9|Pt=2|Div=1|Sdiv=B|S=138}} = Equity of access, opportunity and representation = <span id="s1"></span>(1) Every individual has the right to social inclusion, equity of access, opportunity and representation regardless of race, religion, age, national origin, language, sex, sexual orientation, or mental or physical handicap. <span id="s2"></span>(2) It is the responsibility of Urabba Parks and each entity to promote the social inclusion, equity of opportunity and representation in its governance, management and operations. <span id="s3"></span>(3) It is the responsibility of each entity: :<span id="par3a"></span>(a) to make services available to everyone who is entitled to them, free of any form of discrimination on the basis of any personal attribute falling in subsection (1); :<span id="par3b"></span>(b) to develop and deliver services on the basis of fair treatment of all those clients who are eligible to receive them; :<span id="par3c"></span>(c) to use all necessary strategies to inform eligible clients of the services available, their entitlements, and how they can obtain them; :<span id="par3d"></span>(d) to be sensitive to the needs and requirements of clients from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds, and be responsive as far as practicable to the particular circumstances of individuals; :<span id="par3e"></span>(e) be focused on meeting the needs of clients from all backgrounds. <span id="s4"></span>(4) Subsection (3) does not prohibit the limitation of charitable services to a significant part of the community having a personal attribute falling in subsection (1), provided such limitation is reasonably necessary for the achievement of the charitable purposes of the entity. = <span id="EM"></span>Relevant note from the Explanatory Memorandum = 324. Subsection (1) provides that individuals have the right to social inclusion, equity of access, opportunity and representation regardless of race, religion, age, national origin, language, sex, sexual orientation, or mental or physical handicap. Subsection (2) provides for the responsibility of Urabba Parks and each entity to promote the social inclusion, equity of opportunity and representation in its governance, management and operations.
