Health and safety and matters related to communication services

(1)  Stakeholders expect that each entity is responsible for:

(a)  the health and safety for all personnel, customers and visitors of premises under its control;
(b)  the security of any communications; and
(c)  the proper handling of personal information obtained.

(2)  It is the responsibility of each entity for:

(a)  the making and administration of policies and procedures in its areas of responsibility declared under this section, including but not limited to a privacy policy; and
(b)  the handling of discipline and disputes under such policies.

340. Subsection (1) declares that stakeholders expect that each entity is responsible for the health and safety for all personnel, customers and visitors of premises under its control, the security of any communications and the proper handling of personal information obtained. Subsection (2) provides it is the responsibility of each entity for the making and administration of policies and procedures in its areas of responsibility declared under this section, including but not limited to a privacy policy and the handling of discipline and disputes under such policies.
