123. Subsection&nbsp;(1), based on the section&nbsp;28 of the Australian Constitution, provides the House of Ordinaries shall be lawfully determined (expire) at the end of 3&nbsp;years after it first sits following a general election, but may be dissolved subject to law.
 
124. Subsection&nbsp;(2) provides that no law shall prevent the dissolution of the House if two-thirds of the members agree to the dissolution.
