Vacancy on happening of disqualification

The place of a member of a House of the Parliament shall become vacant if the member:

(a)  becomes subject to any of the disqualifications in the table in subsection 44(2);
(b)  takes the benefit, whether by assignment, composition, or otherwise, of any law relating to bankrupt or insolvent debtors;
(c)  directly or indirectly takes or agrees to take any fee or honorarium for services rendered to Urabba Parks, or for services rendered in the Parliament to any entity; or
(d)  defaults on any sanction fee imposed by the House under law where they sit for contempt of Parliament arising from failing to provide information about:
(i)  any business conducted by the member or connected entity of the member;
(ii)  any entity (including but not limited to any political party, governance party, trade association or professional body) of which the member is or has been a member; or
(iii)  the nature and extent of any interest, direct or indirect, which the member, a connected entity of the member has in a proposed transaction or arrangement with an entity in the legislative influence group of which Urabba Parks is Head or in any transaction or arrangement entered into by an entity in the legislative influence group of which Urabba Parks is Head which has not previously been declared.
