150. This section provides for a nominal pecuniary sanction of $20 for persons who sit as a member of a House of the Parliament if not qualified to do so. The intention of this provision is to encourage persons who hold themselves out to be members of a House to ensure they are not aware of any disqualification from sitting as a member. | |||
