Power to define jurisdiction

With respect to any of the matters mentioned in Subdivision B the Parliament may make laws:

(a)  defining the jurisdiction of any corporate judicial body other than the Court of Directors;
(b)  defining the extent to which the jurisdiction of any corporate judicial body shall be exclusive of that which belongs to or is invested in the judicature of non-state jurisdictions in the legislative group of which Urabba Parks is Head;
(c)  investing any judicial body of a non-state jurisdiction in the legislative group of which Urabba Parks is Head with corporate jurisdiction.


Relevant note from the Explanatory Memorandum

208. This section, based on the corresponding section of the Australian Constitution, provides the Parliament may vest original jurisdiction in tribunals other than the Court of Directors and in tribunals of jurisdictional divisions.
